Set Up Content Upload Settings in VIDIZMO

This guide explains how to configure Upload Settings in VIDIZMO to manage how content is submitted and processed at the portal level.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure that you are a member of a group with the Upload and Manage All Content permission enabled.

Configuring Upload Settings

  1. From the Portal's Home page, click on the navigation menu on the top left of your screen.
  2. Expand the Admin tab.
  3. Click on Portal Settings, and you'll be directed to the Portal Settings page.

  1. In the Portal Settings pane, click on the Library tab to reveal its options.
  2. From the options displayed, select Upload Settings.
  3. On the Upload Settings page, the following options can be enabled:
  • Manage Draft Media Enable this option to save uploaded content as Draft Media if any mandatory Custom Attribute fields are not completed during upload. Make sure users complete all required fields to publish content directly.

Note: The Manage Draft Media option is not available in the Digital Evidence Management product because draft functionality is not supported.

  • Enable Custom Processing Options Allow users to upload content with custom processing options if additional processing is required (e.g., encoding, watermarking, or metadata tagging).

  1. Click Update to apply the configured upload settings.

By following these steps, you can configure Upload Settings in VIDIZMO to effectively manage how content is uploaded and processed across your portal.
